Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitary #2

Mt Whitney Background, Alabama Hills Foreground- Hubby stands alone

Have you seen Iron Man? Robert Downey Jr. Stood a little to the left in a publicity shot for the movie. Lots of movies have been filmed in The Alabama Hills, California.

  1. the rock on the right side of your hubby looks like the backside of an laying elephant (or should I wear my glasses? BOL)

    • The neat thing about the Alabama Hills is all the huge rocks all over. They actually have a map which leads you to the rocks that look like stuff. It is really fun.

  2. Love it!

  3. haha! I can see the elephant, too! 🙂

  4. We were just there a couple of weeks ago! I completely fell in love with that range of mountains! Debra

    • Awesome Place! One of my favorite places to go.

  5. What a stunning region. The more I blog, the more the travel bug is biting!

    • I know, right? I follow the camping blogs and there are a lot of places I would love to visit.

  6. Gorgeous shot Nancy! 🙂

    • Beautiful place have you been?

      • No we haven’t but would love to.

  7. Iron Man? Sure wasn’t me. I’m Flabby Man.

  8. Beautiful place. I know you didn’t plan it, but I love the red sweatshirt…I think without it he would be lost in the gorgeous view…
