Copper World Haul Road

Beyond the New Growth is a Wagon Road

This old wagon road was a haul road that originally went from a smelting plant to Copper World Mine which is located in the mountain on the left. I have seen pictures of old wagons hauling ore from the mine to the smelter where it would be processed.  In today’s fancy vehicles with their shock absorbers on them it is a rough road getting there. I cannot imagine how bad it was for the old teamsters riding on those wagons.
