Weekly Photo Challenge: Beyond #2

Weekly Photo Challenge: Beyond

Beyond the Alabama Hills is Mt. Whitney

Responses

  1. I’d sure hate to get a flat out there…..looks like a bumpy walk.

    • haha there are dirt roads all along the Alabama Hills. If you look closely behind the big rock in the foreground you will see the winding road of Whitney Portal which leads to the trailhead for rock climbers who dare climb Mt. Whitney.

      • No thanks! LOL

  2. I been there! Not a lot but have been there. Love Lone Pine. BFF :0)

    • The last time I was there it was with you! Miss you BFF!

  3. I’ve never loved near mountains. I think they are wonderful. Pretty picture!

    • Oops. Autocorrect. I’ve never LIVED near mountains. 🙂

    • Thanks! We love living so close!

  4. Loved that area!

  5. You sure get to a lot of interesting places.

    • I use to lead historical 4×4 trips out in our desert. It gets pretty hot out there so this is one of our spring/fall places to camp. Also great fishing around there.

      • Very lucky person.

      • I got my love of camping from Dad. After camping his way across France and Germany he considered himself an expert! lol

  6. One of my favorite views! 🙂

  7. Awsome!
