Inside my Secret Room

Responses

  1. My dad built something like this–a back deck that let in dappled light. Lovely. Now this summer they discovered their “treated wood” wasn’t treated enough, and they had to rebuild it. It seems that nothing lovely is forever!

    • My hubby built this as a wedding present in 2000. Although the wooden structure is failing but the plants that adorn it are taking the place of the wood. I hope to enjoy it for many more years.

  2. Oh, lovely secret room. I’ve spent too much time dreaming of one of those. I probably need to do something about it. I love how yours is covered in green and really secret. I won’t tell. 🙂

    • I got the idea because the front of the house has three windows, but faces east. The desert is so hot in the summertime I came up with this idea to help keep the late afternoon sun from making the house so hot. This is what the idea turned into. Thanks for keeping my secret. It you are ever in the area you must stop by for a tea party! lol

  3. What a very pretty entrance

  4. How pretty!

  5. Happy place!

  6. I couldn’t get your hummingbird video to load and I am very interested in seeing it………I believe I saw a previous one……

  7. LOL… Ain’t secret any more! 🙂
