Weekly Photo Challenge: The World Through my Eyes

This is from my wedding in 2000. In the world through my eyes I am SO in charge!

This is from my wedding in 2000. In the world through my eyes I am SO in charge!

The guests at our wedding were surprised when I came from the back yard on this riding mower but even more surprised that I was driving with hubby in tow. This is one of my favorite picts from the wedding. Tomorrow is our 13th anniversary and I feel lucky to have married my best friend!

  9. LOL, you are an original Nancy. Congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary. Good Grief, I can see why you need a riding mower. That is a giant lawn!

  10. That is the cutest thing I have ever seen! Great photo 🙂

  11. That’s so sweet! you both look very happy indeed. Lucky your veil didn’t get caught in the mower though (that’s me, always thinking of the down side!)

    • I know, right? That would have been a wedding to remember! hahahaha

  12. Happy Anniversary

      • 🙂

  13. Hilarious and wonderful picture! I would have loved to be a guest at your wedding and see this. Congratulations! 🙂

    • Thanks Angie! I posted a couple more picts today. One of my 80 year old father who walked me down the isle and one of me having a cigar with the “Boys” It was a fun party!

      • Found them and commented. That made my mood lighten up. Thanks for the smile! 🙂

  14. Happy Anniversary! Loved your “grand entrance.” You’re a gal after my own heart with a terrific sense of humor. Forty-four years ago, I carried my husband “over the threshold” out of our reception to much laughter and cheering on. To this day, people have never let us forget that!

  15. Blahahahahaha!!! So grand!!! What a great memory!!!! It’s even a Radio Flyer!

    • I know! I had a time talking my new hubby into getting in the back but he made the best of it by using my veil as reins!
