Weekly Photo Challenge: Fresh

Freshly Hatched

Freshly Hatched

The eggs hatched yesterday. We have two fuzzy, hungry, mockingbird babies. The picture is not great but the mom has it in a pretty safe place as my hand is all scratched up from the rose bush it is in. Interesting that they are not yet making any noise. As I gently moved the thorns to take the picture one opened his mouth wanting to be fed. He felt the movement of the nest and opened up that big mouth right away. I will keep you updated on their progress.
