Something you may not know about me is I love ghost programs. People make fun of me as those are the shows I record and watch alone (because no one else likes them) My friends ask if I think they are real and I have to ask them “What part of the fact they are television programs do you think I don’t understand?” I do love the history of the places they investigate and this is my favorite part of the show.
Do I think there are ghosts? Yes I have seen one. I cant tell the story cause I have family that lives in the place I saw it. I just hope they don’t read this. I don’t want to scare them.
When I was young I read all of the paranormal books in our small library trying to get answers. I did not understand and until I started watching the ghost shows I did not have answers to what happened. Now I understand and the internet shows me I am not alone.
So I thought I would share some of my favorite internet sites.
The first and foremost site I want to share is livescifi.tv. I have been enjoying this site for probably seven years now. Tim Wood is the founder of the site and he does live ghost hunts and shares the feed streaming live on the internet. The watcher is encouraged to tweet them any unusual things you see. Right now they are doing a month long investigation at an undisclosed location on the east coast. I have seen Tim’s shirt tugged (found by a viewer) along with Tim getting scratched in front of our eyes. Lots more has happened be careful as it is addictive if you like such things.
They had to move their chat and live feed to You Tube:

There are forums and a chat room to chat with other viewers. Also you can see clips from previous investigations along with clips of evidence. Tim is not opposed to provoking or using a Ouija board to help him connect. It gets down right scary at times. They have static cams to watch if they are not investigating. Two nights ago I was watching something where Tim puts on a blindfold, gas mask, and ipod. He went into some kind of trance and just when the experiment was at its scariest my hubby’s phone vibrated and shut off. It was sitting next to me on the table and I had ear bubs on listening. I have to tell you the truth. I jumped and almost hit the ceiling trying to figure out what it was and I just may have peed a little.
If you want something to do on Halloween that is real tune in to their hunt.
On to my favorite paranormal blogs.
Patrick at The Big Séance is one of my favorite blogs.
Renae at The Paranormalist has some great view on the paranormal.

I hope you can get the livescifi.tv feed. They have static cams going 24-7 right now. The investigation starts at 9pm on the east coast. It gets pretty scary when Tim investigates. I am glad I am in my home and not there. It scares me but I love it.

I will have to share the sites with John… he is an avid watcher of these shows, much to my kids dismay. His sister, that now lives in Scotland, told me once about a ghost she saw… if I recall it was in one of the old homes in Dallas and we speculate that it was her Aunt Cannie. John didn’t hear her telling me the story, but she was so absolutely detailed about her experience that it has stuck with me. I now have my own theory about why it was that she saw her Aunt as opposed to others in the family based on some of these shows.

Careful the livescifi.tv is horribly addicting. Interesting about the aunt.
